# offstage cloud

> macOS sandboxes for AI agents. A sandbox is a macOS user account on an Apple silicon Mac Studio (M5 Max), created and driven over an HTTP API: run commands, read and write files, run builds and tests with Xcode, then close it. Interactive desktop access is currently paused for public accounts. $1.10 an hour, billed per second with no minimum.

## What it's for

- Building and testing iOS and macOS apps with xcodebuild and simctl.
- Headless command-line builds and tests are available. Interactive GUI access, desktop screenshots and runAgent are paused for public accounts (gui-paused).
- CI tasks: clone a repo, run a command, collect artifacts.

## Pricing

- $1.10 an hour for each sandbox or task, billed per second with no minimum.
- New personal accounts get $5 in free credit. No credit card is needed to use it. Paid top-ups are not open yet; contact hello@offstage.cloud for more credit.

- Per team: 4 open sandboxes and, independently, 4 running tasks or CI jobs. Up to 16 more tasks can queue.
- Up to 8 sandboxes share an 18-core M5 Max Mac Studio with 36 GB memory, without fixed CPU or memory allocations. Runtime depends on workload and other running work.
- Comparison prices assume the same runtime, not equal build performance; no matched GitHub build benchmark has been published.
- Install the current SDK: `npm install https://api.offstage.cloud/sdk/offstage-cloud-0.3.1.tgz`. The npm registry release is older.
